Every November 8, National STEM/STEAM Day shines a spotlight on the importance of science, technology, engineering, art, and math in shaping our world. This day encourages young minds to explore these fields and understand how STEAM skills can help address society’s toughest challenges. With the integration of the arts, STEAM goes beyond traditional STEM by fostering creativity and critical thinking, helping students envision a future in fields where innovation and problem-solving are essential.

In celebration of National STE(A)M Day, we are featuring a video Brownieland produced in partnership with STE(A)M Truck and Clayton County Public Schools. The video showcases one of STE(A)M Truck’s summer camps called Chip Camp, where 75 middle school students were immersed in nanotechnology, coding, robotics, and rockets, offering them a glimpse into the semiconductor industry and inspiring curiosity. Adding to STE(A)M Truck’s impact, their summer camps have been a resounding success, empowering young minds with creativity, innovation, and hands-on learning.

Welcoming schools and supporters alike, STE(A)M Truck has engaged over 30,000 youth from underserved communities, empowering them with real-world skills essential today.
