This October, Brownieland Pictures joined the Atlanta Botanical Garden’s annual Scarecrows in the Garden event, adding our own creative twist to the seasonal display. As our October volunteer project, the Brownieland Team took to crafting a one-of-a-kind scarecrow. We thought it apropos to call him Steven Scareberg for our video production inspired display! Each fall, the Garden’s paths transform with imaginative scarecrows from local businesses, nonprofits, and artists, and we were thrilled to contribute to this beloved tradition. It’s the perfect way to celebrate the fall season while exploring the Garden’s beauty.
The Atlanta Botanical Garden, located in Midtown Atlanta, spans thirty acres of curated landscapes that invite visitors to explore, learn, and connect with nature. Established in 1976, it has grown into an “emerald jewel” of Atlanta’s cultural scene, blending education, conservation, and horticultural beauty with a mission to inspire through plant collections that support education, research, conservation, and enjoyment. Notable features include Storza Woods, with its Canopy Walk offering scenic woodland views; the Skyline Garden, home to cacti, succulents, and carnivorous plants; and the award-winning Children’s Garden, which encourages hands-on learning. Additionally, the Garden partners with conservation organizations to protect ecosystems and species, including efforts to conserve the monarch butterfly.
Whether you’re a plant enthusiast, a family looking for a fun day out, or someone seeking a peaceful escape, the Atlanta Botanical Garden offers an ever-evolving experience in one of the city’s loveliest spaces.
