Every day nonprofit organizations are working hard to be of service and make a difference in people’s lives. National Nonprofit Day (NND) is celebrated every year on August 17th to recognize the meaningful contributions that nonprofit organizations make for the common good. There are so many incredible Atlanta nonprofits providing shelter, education, and necessities for those in need. These nonprofits depend on volunteers, donors, and partners’ help and support to further their cause. Access to Capital for Entrepreneurs

Access to Capital for Entrepreneurs (ACE) is a Georgia-based nonprofit organization specializing in growing small businesses with capital, coaching, and connections providing community economic development to underserved people and communities. ACE helps businesses that may be considered high risk and less profitable by traditional financial institutions. ACE recently received a $4 million Grown with Google Small Business Fund loan from Opportunity Finance Network (OFN) and will deploy the loan to small businesses in metro Atlanta and North Georgia hurt by the economic impact of COVID-19. Atlanta Women’s Foundation

The mission of the Atlanta Women’s Foundation (AWF) is to be a catalyst for change in the lives of women and girls. Since 1998, the Foundation has invested over $17 million in Atlanta area nonprofit organizations that have successfully moved women and girls from poverty to economic self-sufficiency. Pebble Tossers is a youth development nonprofit with a mission to empower and equip youth to lead through service.
