Partnering with Pride: Brownieland Showcases Atlanta Nonprofits in Celebration of Pride Month

Brownieland Pictures Showcases Atlanta Nonprofits in Celebration of Pride Month

At Brownieland Pictures, we’re proud to celebrate Pride Month and recognize its significance in honoring the LGBTQ+ community. This month serves as a crucial reminder of the strides towards equality and inclusion that have been achieved, while also acknowledging the ongoing challenges that remain. Through our work, we understand the power of storytelling in promoting understanding and acceptance. Embracing diversity not only enriches our creative process but also reinforces our commitment to creating content that resonates with diverse audiences. Brownieland has partnered with some remarkable Atlanta nonprofits that support LGBTQ+ rights and advocate for inclusivity in their communities.

CHRIS 180

CHRIS 180 has been at the forefront of behavioral health and child welfare service delivery since 1981 when the organization was established. For almost 40 years, CHRIS 180 has provided targeted outreach to LGBTQ+ youth experiencing homelessness and those in the foster care system. We were able to see this work in action when Brownieland partnered with CHRIS 180 on a new video spotlighting their continued commitment as the first and largest nonprofit organization in Georgia to celebrate and serve LGBTQ+ youth.

THE CHILDREN’S SCHOOL

The mission of The Children’s School is to enrich minds and inspire dreams. TCS’s diverse community in the heart of Midtown Atlanta is passionate about unlocking the potential of children from early childhood through eighth grade. We were honored to collaborate with TCS on this video showcasing students, faculty, staff and parents discussing diversity and inclusion at The Children’s School.

LOST-N-FOUND YOUTH

The Brownieland Team lent a hand to Lost-n-Found Youth by collecting and donating items to the Lost-N-Found Youth Thrift Store that supports LnFY’s self-sustaining solution to end LGBTQ youth homelessness in Atlanta. At Lost-n-Found Youth, volunteers are essential to their success. LnFY offers volunteer opportunities for individuals and groups like sorting donations at the thrift store, providing a meal at the youth center, engaging in street outreach, and more.
