Brownieland is always inspired by the amount of work that is being done throughout Georgia and the Southeast to help those in need. We recently worked side-by-side with Nobis Works, an organization that helps disabled people find jobs in the community. Founded 40 years ago by former Atlanta Falcons star, Tommy Nobis, this nonprofit continues to expand and place thousands of people in jobs throughout our area. Brownieland created a video to be shown at their Galaxy of Stars annual luncheon to highlight their very successful 40 years of existence.
Nobis Works’ mission is to empower people through employment. Headquartered in Marietta, Ga, they develop and provide job training, employment and vocational support for youth and adults with disabilities and other barriers to employment. Serving businesses throughout Metro Atlanta and 17 states, Nobis Works helps individuals with all types of disabilities to enter or return to employment, and to enjoy productive and independent lifestyles while contributing to the greater business community. Since 1977, they have helped more than 25,000 individuals find dignity and workplace success.
Brownieland Pictures wishes Nobis Works many more years of success empowering people through employment!
