Brownieland Partners with GEEARS to Inspire Quality Early Childhood Education (VIDEO)

The importance of quality early childhood education is the focus of GEEARS, Georgia Early Education Alliance for Ready Students. Recently, GEEARS held a gubernatorial summit on early education and they asked Brownieland to create a video that shared the voices of parents in Georgia talking about what was important in their child’s early educational experience. We partnered with Sheltering Arms and Druid Hills Child Development Center to capture some amazing parents, educators, and children, helping to further advance Georgia’s early childhood education.

The mission of Georgia Early Education Alliance for Ready Students (GEEARS) is to support high-quality early learning and healthy development for Georgia’s youngest children, from birth to five, by championing policies, promoting innovative and evidence-based practices, and building public will. GEEARS was established in 2010 to help business, civic and government leaders maximize the economic return on the state’s investments in early care and learning. Their vision is by 2020, all Georgia students will enter kindergarten prepared to succeed and on a path to read to learn by third grade. GEEARS is a nonpartisan, nonprofit organization operating to inspire and provide leadership for a statewide movement on quality early learning and healthy development for all children ages birth through five. Find out how to become a part of this movement HERE and more about this incredible organization HERE.
