Brownieland Celebrates Atlanta Nonprofits for Giving Tuesday Now: A Global Day of Unity

Brownieland Pictures celebrates Giving Tuesday Now

On May 5th, mark your calendars to celebrate Giving Tuesday Now: A Global Day of Unity and Giving. As an emergency response to the COVID-19 pandemic, Giving Tuesday has organized this effort to come together as a global community. The goal of Giving Tuesday Now is “to create a wave of generosity, citizen engagement, action from business and philanthropy, and support for communities and nonprofits around the world.” Even though we are practicing social distancing, we can still find a way to provide financial, emotional, and social support that nurture our communities. Check out the Giving Tuesday website for ideas to help you make a positive change in the lives of others. On a local level, GAgives will be hosting a live stream on their Facebook page all day in honor of Giving Tuesday Now.

With this in mind, Brownieland Pictures will be celebrating Giving Tuesday Now throughout the month of May by showcasing Atlanta nonprofits that help those in need around Georgia. We hope this motivates others to give back, give thanks, and give support to these incredible organizations during this critical time. Brownieland honored National Volunteer Month in April by featuring a post a day about each organization that we have volunteered with since our #10in10 Volunteer Campaign began. Our goal has been to lift your spirits, inspire you to lend a hand, and share your experiences. We hope to keep this momentum going throughout May as an opportunity to bring about awareness of these nonprofit organizations and how you can be of service. Be sure to check out the Brownieland Pictures Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram sites starting tomorrow, and let’s make a difference together!
