Brownieland Celebrates Spirit of the Season with “Handmade by JLA”

To celebrate the year’s end, our December monthly volunteer project truly captured the spirit of holiday cheer by giving for the greater good. In collaboration with Atlanta’s premier Junior League of Atlanta, the ongoing initiative, Handmade by JLA, gave Brownieland the opportunity to handcraft knit essentials such as scarves and hats for families with premature infants. Robyn Kranz, an active member of the League, spearheaded the project just before wrapping the 2022 season given its immense value to both parents and children in need.

With the holiday season coming to a close, we should not waver in remembering the reason we give back, to build and connect with our local community while telling these stories along the way. In fact, it isn’t too late for you to make this a part of your 2023 story as well. The Junior League of Atlanta encourages everyone to participate in their ongoing Handmade project. We also extend that same encouragement to our readers, so even though the holiday season may come and go, you can still start the new year with a bang! The opportunity to make a difference is a year-long event. Visit the Junior League of Atlanta’s current projects for more information. As always, let them know Brownieland sent you!
