For many, the month of November dawns the spirit of thanks unlike any other, but for us at Brownieland, this spirit of giving thanks truly dominated our partnerships. It wasn’t just the national holiday that made us thankful, but rather the great stories we got to tell. Our month in review starts with another successful Brownieland production for the Atlanta Speech School. Then, during our monthly volunteer project, we ventured to the Atlanta Junior League’s annual Literacy Walk. Last but certainly not least, we reignited our gratitude after Turkey day to share some handy tips for the GAGives #GivingTuesday campaign on Instagram.
In speaking with members of the Atlanta Speech School, we heard stories that deeply resonated with us and showcase their vision. On November 19th, Brownieland went the extra mile for literacy at the Atlanta Junior League’s (JLA) second annual Literacy Walk. We connected with a host of excellent vendors including Georgia Library Service for the Blind and Print Disabled (GLS). Read more about our experience HERE.
