Brownieland Pictures Celebrates Women's Entrepreneurship Day by Featuring Atlanta Organizations that Support Women in Business.

In honor of Women’s Entrepreneurship Day on November 19th, Brownieland is shining a spotlight on local organizations we’ve had the privilege of partnering with, all of which are dedicated to empowering women entrepreneurs throughout the metro Atlanta area. Women’s Entrepreneurship Day is a global movement that celebrates the achievements of women in business while advocating for greater access to resources, networks, and opportunities. To mark this important day, Brownieland is featuring organizations that provide essential services such as mentorship, funding, training, and networking opportunities – key tools that women need to thrive as business owners. As a woman-owned business, Brownieland is proud to not only celebrate the strength and innovation of women entrepreneurs but also amplify the impactful work of these organizations that are shaping the future of women in business across Atlanta.

Atlanta Women’s Foundation

The Atlanta Women’s Foundation (AWF) plays a vital role in breaking the cycle of poverty for low-income women and girls by providing funding, resources, and evaluation support to nonprofits that offer transformative programs. In addition to its grantmaking, AWF fosters leadership development through initiatives like Women on Board, a nonprofit training program, and Inspire Atlanta, which empowers women to take on leadership roles in their communities. By preparing women to be thoughtful, informed, and philanthropic leaders, AWF helps them address the unique challenges that women and girls face locally. To learn more about AWF’s impactful work, check out this guest blog post by AWF’s Kate Balzer. You can also watch the video Brownieland Pictures produced in collaboration with AWF to see firsthand how this incredible organization is making a difference.

The ACE Women’s Business Center (WBC) offers a comprehensive suite of services tailored to women entrepreneurs at every stage of their journey—from planning and implementation to growth. With a focus on civic leadership, JLA connects women who are passionate about volunteerism and community transformation. The organization offers a variety of volunteer opportunities, both through its community partners and within the League itself, while also serving as a training platform for its members to develop leadership skills.
