The Brownieland Team is excited to share that we have been selected from more than 13,000 entries from all 50 states and numerous countries for a Telly Award!
Brownieland Pictures was named a Bronze winner in the 38th Telly Awards for our video titled “Every Opportunity,” produced for the Atlanta Speech School and their Rollins Center for Language and Literacy.
The powerful video – which went viral around the country and world with more than 1 million views – shows a day at school from the perspective of one young student. It demonstrates how small changes in adult behavior, both inside and outside of the classroom, can enhance a child’s approach and their ability to learn.
“This is particularly special for us because this project moved us profoundly,” said Randy Frostig, partner at Brownieland Pictures. “When you see and hear first-hand what this child saw and heard and what so many children hear – or don’t hear – every day, it has a tremendous effect. It makes you more aware of the impact we all have on our children.”
The Telly Awards was founded in 1979 and is the premier award honoring outstanding local, regional, and cable TV commercials and programs, the finest video and film productions, and online commercials, video and films. Winners represent the best work of the most respected advertising agencies, production companies, television stations, cable operators, and corporate video departments in the world.
“The Telly Awards has a mission to honor the very best in film and video,” said Linda Day, Executive Director of the Telly Awards. “Brownieland Pictures’ accomplishment illustrates their creativity, skill, and dedication to their craft and serves as a testament to great film and video production.”
Robyn Ellis Kranz, partner at Brownieland Pictures said, “We are so fortunate to partner with such amazing nonprofits like the Atlanta Speech School. We are inspired by them every day, those who work tirelessly to serve their community by spreading hope and facilitating change in everyday lives. This award is for each of them. They’ve made us more aware of issues facing our city, our little corner of the world and we are honored to work with them to enact change by sharing their stories with a wider audience.”
