November #Best of Brownie featuring GA Tech and GA Gives Day (VIDEO)

In celebration of Brownieland’s 10-year anniversary, we are featuring the #Best of Brownie series where we look back through the years showcasing a client and their mission.

For our November #Best of Brownie we are celebrating GA Gives Day! The purpose of GA Gives on Giving Tuesday is to empower all Georgia nonprofits to increase funds, gain new supporters, and raise awareness through one 24-hour statewide marathon of giving. Bringing together thousands of the state’s charities on one full-featured online donation platform, GAgives.org, it is easy for nonprofits to start raising money online, and easy for Georgians to discover them and donate directly.

So in honor of this important initiative of giving, we thought it appropriate to spotlight a video we created for Georgia Tech’s Ivan Allen College featuring the recipients of the 2017 Dean’s Appreciation Award:  Pamela and Colonel Stephen Hall. Described as kind, committed and giving, watch to find out more about this couple who provides scholarships and mentoring to students at Georgia Tech!

Colonel Stephen C. Hall is a 1967 Georgia Tech graduate with a degree in Management. After graduating from Georgia Tech, he served in the Air Force for over two decades. Hall is a member of the Ivan Allen College Development Council, and he and Mrs. Hall have supported many critical activities in the college. They established the Steven C. Hall Endowed Scholarship to help students who are children of active duty military members. The former NAVY ROTC Building at Georgia Tech was renamed the Stephen C. Hall Building in honor of Colonel Hall for over 30 years of support to the institute across many areas.
