Last year, Brownieland Pictures celebrated our 10-year anniversary with the #10in10 Volunteer Campaign. The Brownieland Team volunteered with a different nonprofit organization each month for ten months and on December 8th, National Brownie Day, one of those nonprofits was randomly selected to receive a free one-minute video on us!
The winner of our 2017 #10in10 Volunteer Campaign was Literacy Action, the Southeast’s oldest and largest nonprofit of adult literacy. Literacy Action annually teaches over 1,000 adults how to read, write, understand mathematics, and learn other essential literacies necessary for a productive life. The Brownieland Team volunteered with Literacy Action’s Mock Interview Workshop where attendees learn how to dress for success, prepare for interviews, and practice their skills in mock interviews.
