Brownieland Pictures was honored once again to create videos showcasing the Federation’s annual Community Awards Winners. Since the event was virtual this year, we worked together over Zoom, capturing the history of the awards with the families who created them. Sharing the stories of why the awards were created and what they have meant to the community was a wonderful way to learn about the dedicated people who have given so much to Atlanta. Congratulations again to all of the winners!
The Gerald H. Cohen Community Development Award is presented to an outstanding individual who is not a native of Atlanta and has lived in the community for less than seven years. The award recognizes exemplary levels of community engagement for newer members of the community.
The Abe Schwartz Young Leadership Award is presented to an outstanding individual under the age of forty, demonstrating a considerable level of involvement in the Jewish community and significant leadership potential.
