CHRIS 180 | CHRIS 180 Shares Message of Support for LGBTQ+ Community
For almost 40 years, CHRIS 180 has provided targeted outreach to LGBTQ+ youth experiencing homelessness and those in the foster care system. Brownieland was able to see this work in action when we partnered with CHRIS 180 on a new video spotlighting their continued commitment as the first and largest nonprofit organization in Georgia to celebrate and serve LGBTQ+ youth. Jewish Women’s Fund of Atlanta | Jewish Women’s Fund of Atlanta Overview
The Jewish Women’s Fund of Atlanta (JWFA) is an incredible organization geared toward helping women and girls in Atlanta and Israel become financially independent and successful. Brownieland partnered with JWFA again this year to create videos for their annual luncheon, which was presented virtually due to the pandemic. Read more HERE.

Atlanta Speech School | Atlanta Speech School Offers Diagnostic and Therapeutic Services through Collaborative Program
The Clinic at the Atlanta Speech School is a bit of a hidden gem! They do so much to unlock children’s potential through therapeutic and academic services available not only to Speech School kids but to clients from infancy to late adulthood. Brownieland got a chance to see the amazing work that is being done at The Clinic and to capture the live and virtual sessions that help children reach their full potential. Read more HERE.

Partnership Against Domestic Violence | Brownieland Partners with PADV Atlanta for the Hearts With Hope Gala
Partnership Against Domestic Violence (PADV) has continued to serve the Atlanta community providing emergency intervention, violence prevention, and long-term advocacy for those in need. Brownieland was honored to partner with PADV to create videos for their (virtual) Gala this year and support this incredible nonprofit’s work of ending domestic violence and empowering its survivors. CHRIS 180 | Chris 180 Provides Outreach to the Atlanta Community During the Pandemic
When COVID-19 hit, CHRIS 180 realized their clients needed support with food insecurity, so they stepped up to make that happen. Their biggest annual fundraiser, The CHRIStal Ball, was virtual this year, yet CHRIS 180 was able to raise more than their goal. Brownieland had the honor of creating videos for the event, as well as meeting some of the outstanding staff and clients who CHRIS 180 serves. Read more HERE.
The Atlanta Speech School | Cox Campus Offers Community Building in a Virtual Setting
Back in March, at the onset of the pandemic, the Atlanta Speech School offered its free online preschool to support children and families facing the challenges of the pandemic. The Atlanta Speech School continued to offer free summer learning experiences designed for children from birth to 3rd grade on the Cox Campus. Jewish Federation of Greater Atlanta | Brownieland Partners with Jewish Federation of Greater Atlanta to Celebrate Community Award Winners
Brownieland Pictures was honored once again to create videos showcasing the Federation’s annual Community Awards Winners. Since the event was virtual this year, we worked together over Zoom, capturing the history of the awards with the families who created them. Sharing the stories of why the awards were created and what they have meant to the community was a wonderful way to learn about the dedicated people who have given so much to Atlanta. Read more HERE.
The Atlanta Speech School | This Little Light of Mine
Brownieland produced a video in partnership with the Atlanta Speech School featuring Tim Miller of the Atlanta Symphony Orchestra singing, “This Little Light of Mine.” The video highlights the idea that learning needs to be better for teachers, parents, and children. We can’t go back to the way it was before; we need to allow all children to shine their lights and share their voices with the world. Read more HERE.

Dr. Maryanne Wolf, who is known as a scholar, a teacher, and an advocate for children and literacy around the world. Brownieland worked with the Atlanta Speech School to create a Virtual Book Study for Dr. Wolf’s book, Reader Come Home: The Reading Brain in a Digital World. Rollins Center for Language and Literacy | Brownieland Films at Crisp County Primary for the Rollins Center for Language and Literacy’s Cox Campus Course
Brownieland expanded our reach and captured some amazing teachers at Crisp County Primary School during the month of February. The videos Brownieland produced featuring the Atlanta Speech School’s Crisp County program is part of the K-3rd grade course on the Rollins Center for Language and Literacy’s Cox Campus. The Cox Campus is a place for educators to learn best practices for teaching children from birth all the way up through third grade. Read more HERE.
