Make-A-Wish Georgia is in the business of granting wishes and transforming lives for children with critical illnesses. Brownieland helped bring the story of a very special boy’s wish to light. Travis, who goes by “Bubba,” always wished to be a firefighter. The Marietta City Fire Department went above and beyond to grant his wish. The video was shown at the most recent Wish Ball, where over $1.35 million was raised to grant over 1000 wishes for children in Georgia. Brownieland was also an in-kind sponsor of the WIsh Ball. We are so proud to have participated!

Make-A-Wish Georgia works to transform the lives of critically ill children and their families by granting medically eligible children a once-in-a-lifetime, high-quality wish experience. Children battling a serious illness often benefit emotionally and physically from the hope, strength, and joy of having their most heartfelt wish come true. A wish gives a child and their family something positive and exciting to think about while pulling their attention away from the pain and suffering of illness.
Since 1995, Make-A-Wish Georgia has granted the wishes of nearly 7,000 kids across the state of Georgia. Any child between the ages of 2 1/2 and 18, who has been determined by a physician to have a life-threatening medical condition and has not been granted a previous wish, is eligible. For every wish granted, there are three more children with critical illnesses whose wishes need financial support. Learn about ways you can help Make-A-Wish Georgia HERE.
