Brownieland’s Monthly Volunteer Project: The Walk to Defeat ALS Sponsored by ALS Association

Every month, Brownieland is committed to participating in a volunteer event of our choosing, and on September 24th, we were fortunate enough to join Georgia’s chapter for The Walk to Defeat ALS sponsored by the ALS Association. During the fundraising period, Brownieland’s team raised approximately $800 in support of the fight against ALS. In total, our partners received $492,984 in donations—meeting 77% of their donation goal.

Our team has been dedicated to raising funds for ALS across almost a decade. These monetary contributions have also helped raise awareness of ALS as a chronic and debilitating illness within the local, state, and national community as well as among our own partner network. Amplifying this fight and the nonprofit, The ALS Association, is an initiative that Brownieland will continue to be an advocate for years to come.
If you missed out on the opportunity to walk during the event, there is still time to give a monetary donation so the ALS Association can still reach their goal of $640,000. These proceeds will go towards treatment solutions and ultimately a cure for ALS itself. So, make a donation today, and make a difference for tomorrow.
